Nostrum grew up in the taco shop haunts of Southern California, celebrating their aprés-surf sessions with carne asada tacos, spicy pickled carrots, and Jamaica tea, a mysterious purple beverage that was both sweet and tart.
This shrub is an ode to those sunburnt childhood memories, combining local organic strawberries from Stehly Farms with organic jalapeños and organic dried hibiscus. It's sweet, then tart, then it punches you in the face as if to say, "Sorry kids, back to school."
