RETURNS
We hope you love your purchases from us!
However, if you are not happy with your order, we accept returns for store credit or exchange only on most full price clothing and accessory items within 7 days of purchase.
Unfortunately, we do not offer returns or exchanges on housewares items, Mustard Made products, sale items, underwear/swimwear, beauty products, jewelry, head wear, socks, secondhand or vintage and these items are all final sale.
To be eligible for a store credit or exchange on eligible items, they must be unused and in the same condition that you received it with original packaging or tags attached.
To request store credit or an exchange, please email us at maggie@burkemercantile.com for approval before sending your item(s) back to us. We will issue you a return shipping label for the item, the cost of which will be deducted from your final credit. The shipping cost for returns is based on your distance from the shop and size of the package. The average return shipping cost is $12.00. Original shipping fees are also non-refundable.
We require a receipt, order number, or proof of purchase for any return or exchange. For online orders, ship date for sending back the item must be dated within 7 days of receiving the return shipping label.
We do not offer price adjustments on past purchases at this time.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only full priced items may be returned, unfortunately all discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you can receive a store credit for the value of your return within 7 days of receiving your item on eligible items. Once the returned item is received, a store credit will be sent to you via email.
SHIPPING
Orders placed on burkemercantile.com generally ship within 3 business days from the United States, unless otherwise notified. Most items ship directly from Burke Mercantile headquarters in Long Beach, California. However, depending on the pieces in your order, some items may arrive separately and be delivered through different carriers or services.
Online Only Items
Some housewares items including Mustard Made, Mungo, Meso Goods, Goldie Home, and DAR Proyectos, ship direct to you from those brands' US-based warehouses and may have their own unique lead time (shipping time frame). You will receive confirmation emails and tracking numbers for your shipments, allowing you to view carrier information and transit details.
Once we have delivered the merchandise to the courier and they have accepted the item, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. Burke Mercantile is not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen packages. Please contact your local post office or shipping courier to remedy the situation.
Courier shipping rates may increase periodically. We do our best to offer fair shipping prices through flat rates or through auto-calculated courier rates based on weight of package and distance traveled. Please note that in certain rare cases for large/heavy items or large quantity orders, there may be an additional shipping charge in order to deliver the order. We will always reach out to you to confirm any additional charges before shipping, with the option to cancel the order if necessary. We appreciate your understanding.

Mustard Made
Mustard Made products on our website are currently available for shipping only within the 48 contiguous United States (excl. Alaska & Hawaii). They are not available for local pickup at Burke Mercantile. The Lockers are shipped flat packed with directions for easy assembly. These products are shipped to you directly from the Mustard Made US warehouse and are not available for Express or expedited shipping at this time. Standard processing times for Mustard orders is 2-10 business days. These products are also not eligible for free shipping, each item ordered has a shipping charge depending on the item size and weight. These items and shipping costs are non-refundable, so please reach out before ordering if you have any questions about shipping costs or timelines.
Domestic Shipping
We ship to all 50 states and US territories for most items, with some housewares items only available in the 48 contiguous United States. The shipping methods and costs offered during checkout will differ based on your shipping address and the weight of the items being ordered. All orders are shipped with tracking information. Orders over $500 may require signature for delivery.
Domestic orders over $150 will qualify for free standard shipping on applicable items, which includes most items stocked at our Long Beach headquarters. Please note, many housewares items due to weight, size and fragility do not apply for free shipping and shipping costs for these items is generally based on package size, weight, and distance to shipping destination.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide on most items that are stocked at our Long Beach headquarters. International shipping rates are calculated at check out based on shipping destination and weight of package. Please enter in your shipping destination to calculate. Burke Mercantile is not responsible for any extra import or duty taxes and fees that may apply once the package arrives in the destination country, these will be the responsibility of the customer. At this time we are not able to provide exact delivery time frames for all destinations. In addition, some international shipments may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee additional duties charges or customs delays. We can suggest for you to contact your local customs office for any additional information. We do NOT accept orders to international mail forwarding facilities, due to the high rate of fraud associated with such orders.
