The Drift is a magazine of culture and politics. Founded in June 2020, The Drift aims to introduce new work and new ideas by young writers who haven't yet been absorbed into the media hive mind and don't feel hemmed in by the boundaries of the existing discourse. Published three times a year, their issues feature longform essays and cultural criticism, short fiction, poetry, interviews, dispatches, and extremely abbreviated reviews.

Issue Eleven features essays on dissidents, ecoterrorists, and mermaids; an interview with Verónica Gago; Dispatches on the Supreme Court and the left; fiction by Steven Duong, Xavier Blackwell-Lipkind, K Patrick, and Eliza Barry Callahan; poetry by Harmony Holiday, George Abraham, Prince Bush, and Emma Winsor Wood; plus extremely abbreviated reviews, letters to the editors, and more.

Published November 2023.
