Online Returns/Refunds
Our return policy lasts 7 days for full price items. If more than 7 days have gone by since receiving your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. We are happy to exchange items also within 7 days of receiving your purchase. If more than 7 days has passed, you can exchange for another item or store credit within 14 days. After 14 days, unfortunately we cannot accept any items for return or exchange. Only full priced items are eligible for a refund with the exception of underwear, unfortunately discounted sale items, underwear/swimwear, and vintage items are all final sale and cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged. *Please note, due to COVID-19 and sanitary measures, all soap, beauty products, and jewelry will be final sale and not eligible for return.

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

To request a return, please email us at for approval of return before sending. We require a receipt or proof of purchase. For online orders, ship date for sending back the item must be dated within 7 days of receiving the item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed on your original method of payment. We cannot refund to alternate forms of payment than the form used for your purchase. Please note that refund payments can take up to 7 business days to process to your account, and we have no control over this timeline. If you prefer to receive a store credit instead of a refund, please let us know, and this can be issued immediately upon receiving the return item(s). Store credits or gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash. 

We do not offer price adjustments on past purchases at this time.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately discounted sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded, returned, or exchanged.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a store credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a store credit will be sent to you via email.

All orders placed on generally ship within 3 business days unless otherwise notified. Once Burke Mercantile has delivered the merchandise to the carrier and they have accepted the item, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. Burke Mercantile is not responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen packages. Please contact your local post office or shipping courier to remedy the situation.

Please note due to COVID, current shipping times are not guaranteed by carriers. 

Carrier shipping rates have increased in 2021. We do our best to offer fair shipping prices which are auto-calculated at current carrier rates based on weight of package and distance traveled. Please note that in certain cases for large items or large quantity orders, there may be an additional shipping charge in order to deliver the order. We will always reach out to you to confirm additional charges before shipping, with the option to cancel the order if necessary. We appreciate your understanding.

Domestic Shipping

We ship to all 50 states and US territories. The shipping methods and costs offered during checkout will differ based on your shipping address and the weight of the items being ordered. All orders are shipped with tracking information. Orders overs $300 may require signature for delivery. Domestic orders over $150 will qualify for free standard shipping on applicable items. Please note, many housewares items due to weight, size and fragility do not apply for free shipping and shipping costs for these items is based on weight and distance to shipping destination. 

International Shipping
We ship worldwide! International shipping rates are calculated at check out based on shipping destination and weight of package. Please enter in your shipping destination to calculate. Burke Mercantile is not responsible for any extra import or duty taxes and fees that may apply once the package arrives in the destination country, these will be the responsibility of the customer. At this time we are not able to provide exact delivery time frames for all destinations. In addition, some international shipments may experience customs delays. Unfortunately, we cannot foresee additional duties charges or customs delays. We can suggest for you to contact your local customs office for any additional information. We do NOT accept orders to international mail forwarding facilities, due to the high rate of fraud associated with such orders.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if covered by us.

If you wish to exchange your item, you must return the original item to us, unused and in the same condition in which you received it, before we can send you your exchange item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping a return item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
