Borealis Bowl in Dawn

The Borealis Bowl in Dawn by Gina DeSantis Ceramics is a handcrafted masterpiece, featuring a stunning glaze inspired by the Aurora Borealis. Made from brown stoneware clay with speckles, it's not just aesthetically pleasing, but also practical - the perfect size for soup or salad. With a soft white and pink interior, complemented by beige, bronze, and white tones, it's a truly atmospheric addition to your table. The beauty of this combo is that no two are ever the same. Some of the bowls have more of a stripe of bronze while in other firings it runs - please note this is part of the charm of handmade. See the photos for a better understanding of these variations.

Process: Each Borealis bowl is meticulously crafted on the potter’s wheel and hand trimmed. Each piece is glazed in a series of the brand's signature glaze combos.

Materials: A speckled brown stoneware clay. Durable, lead free glazes custom mixed in my studio. The Dawn glaze features neutrals including beige, white, bronze and subtle hints of green and pink.

Size & Capacity: All measurements are approximate due to the hand thrown nature of my work. ~3.5 inches tall x 5 inches wide.

Care: Microwave and dishwasher safe.
